About the position
The Automotive Bookkeeper is responsible for processing various financial transactions related to automotive sales, including car deals, inventory management, and contract reconciliation. This full-time position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on teamwork and learning new roles as needed.
Responsibilities
- Process automotive sales transactions including car deals and contracts in transit.
- Post and track inventory and flooring.
- Reconcile schedules and manage payoffs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Learn and adapt to other positions as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- 1 year of accounting experience (required).
- Experience in an automotive dealership environment (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with CDK/ADP systems (helpful).
- Experience with Xero (preferred).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in an automotive dealership environment.
