About the position

The Business Product Manager for Digital Platform Solutions at American Honda Motor Co. is responsible for developing and executing product and business strategies in the rapidly evolving automotive industry. Responsibilities

• Spearhead the launch of digital platform solutions in the automotive sector.
• Orchestrate the development and deployment of digital proof of concepts (PoCs) that address customer needs.
• Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for product adoption and growth.
• Partner with business units globally to create a cohesive vision for product development.
• Evangelize product and demo to customers and partners.
• Adapt product strategies based on market dynamics and feedback.
• Oversee the product lifecycle from conception to launch, managing timelines and deliverables.
• Identify opportunities and competitive advantages for digital solutions.
• Gather and utilize customer feedback to refine product offerings.
• Leverage financial acumen for pricing strategies and revenue forecasting.
• Conduct market research to validate ideas and ensure alignment with customer needs.
• Define product requirements and specifications for development teams.
• Analyze product performance post-launch to enhance user experience.

Requirements

• B.A./B.S. in engineering, IT, computer science, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a business analyst or product owner.
• Software development experience in program or project management, product development, or engineering.
• 3 years of experience leading a project team.
• Experience building complex IT projects (app, server, partner) development.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA preferred.
• Experience with energy management policies related to V2X, V1G, or related regulatory agencies.
• Strong experience with PoC development and use cases.
• Excellent planning, negotiating, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Basic understanding of business model development and revenue models.
• Technical orientation and understanding of automotive operations.
