This dual role is essential to creating an exceptional experience for our customers, ensuring their service appointments are scheduled smoothly and their checkout process is seamless and positive. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Listen attentively to customers’ needs, providing accurate information and assistance.
  • Process customer payments (cash, credit cards, checks), and maintain proper record-keeping for all transactions.
  • Accurately compute and process bills, ensuring the checkout process runs smoothly.
  • Reconcile the cash drawer at the end of each day.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers scheduling service appointments.
  • Provide detailed information about available services and coordinate appointment schedules.
  • Serve as a backup receptionist when needed.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Assist with additional tasks as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic mathematical aptitude.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to independently problem solve.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
