Automotive Contract Clerk

About the position

The Automotive Contract Clerk at Envision Motors is a role designed for experienced candidates who will be responsible for processing title and registration documents related to the retail sale of automobiles across multiple dealerships. The position emphasizes accuracy and compliance in handling vehicle purchase documents and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving within the dealership management system. Responsibilities

• Process title and registration documents related to the retail sale of automobiles for 1-4 dealerships.
• Process and post accounting entries for 1-4 dealerships.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely data in multiple areas of the company's dealership management system.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounting and operating data.
• Assist the management and executive team with any other tasks relevant to the business office.
• Monitor all vehicle purchase documents for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and fees.
• Process trade-ins, voids and unwind deals.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence.
• Input inventory control information to ensure accurate reporting.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role as a Contract Clerk.
• Proficiency in processing the legal documents necessary to transfer or obtain vehicle titles and establish registration.
• Ability to research unusual or complex titling and registration problems and plan and execute their resolution with relative independence.
• Prior experience working for a Retail Automotive Dealership.
• Any relevant degree, certification, or professional training.
• Proficiency in the CDK Drive, or automotive dealership and general business software platforms.
• Proficiency in inter-personal conflict resolution and ability to develop and maintain a team-based culture.
