About the position

The Automotive Corporate Sales Trainer and Performance Coach at C-4 Analytics is responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of the sales team through the development and implementation of training programs tailored to the automotive industry. This remote position focuses on coaching, mentoring, and providing real-time feedback to sales team members, ensuring they effectively communicate the company's digital marketing solutions to automotive dealer prospects. The role requires strong analytical skills to assess sales performance and identify areas for improvement, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to foster a high-performing sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement automotive industry-focused training programs for the sales team.
  • Design and deliver training sessions on company services and business practices.
  • Conduct individual performance coaching for sales team members.
  • Assist in identifying and standardizing sales performance reporting for internal business review.
  • Work with the sales team to achieve sales targets through data analysis and training.
  • Oversee sales phone calls and presentations to gather information and data.
  • Review and analyze monthly commission reports to identify low-performing sales members.
  • Develop training curricula, instructor manuals, and learner guides.
  • Plan and facilitate cold calling "power hour" blitzes with sales team members.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team for cross-departmental development.
  • Oversee the onboarding certification process for new sales hires.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on performance challenges and training needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of automotive experience.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing business development training and performance coaching programs.
  • 5+ years of experience working with a CRM to produce performance reports.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales management or performance improvement role.
  • 5+ years of combined inside/outside sales experience preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence at all levels of the Sales and Learning and Development team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and professionalism.

  • Digital Marketing experience preferred.
