About the position

The Trainer role will develop training strategy, then execute on the development and delivery of training content for our Sales and Service dealership partners. The ultimate goal is to ensure our team is thinking and acting in a way that puts our customers first, ensuring a seamless retail experience and make our customers raving fans of our products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates existing classes that support our core proficiencies in classroom as well as in virtual platforms; performs follow-up to evaluate learning application and impact.
  • Proactively organizes, manages, and executes logistics for various trainings, including marketing of programs, scheduling of courses, sending pre and post work messaging, and tracking completions/course attendance in Workday Learning.
  • Conduct training needs analysis by gathering information about needs through data collection about the learners and/or organizational performance requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to design and develop learning solutions that align with business objectives while addressing the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Selects and/or designs appropriate interventions to address performance gaps and drives conversations to generate effective solutions.
  • Creates thorough design documents for classroom, self-paced and blended learning including measurable learning objectives, instructional activities, and other learning tools and resources.
  • Partners with the Instructional Designer to develop instructional materials/assets including participant guides, instructor guides, presentations, skills assessments, and job aids.
  • Measures the effect of interventions on performance and the achievement of business goals.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in in person facilitation.
  • Experience in an Automotive Dealership.
  • Experience training in a remote and in person environment.
  • Strong one-on-one and group presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to interact and work with employees at all levels in the organization including business units and executive management.
  • Customer Service or Customer Service Training Experience.
  • Familiarity with dealership operations required.
  • Experience with My Kaarma or DealerSocket.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to travel.
