About the position

As an Automotive Customer Service Specialist at Christian Brothers Automotive, you will be the primary point of contact for guests seeking assistance with their vehicles. Your role is crucial in building relationships with customers and ensuring their needs are met with respect and care. You will handle various tasks, including checking guests in and out, scheduling appointments, and providing shuttle services, all while maintaining a clean and organized facility.

Responsibilities

  • Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
  • Check guests in and out
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Provide safe shuttle service for guests in a branded vehicle
  • Treat guests with respect and care
  • Assist the shop with receiving and processing parts
  • Keep the facility clean and organized
  • Assist team members with clerical tasks such as accounts receivable and filing
  • Direct and coordinate guest service activities
  • Serve as a community ambassador for the store
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proven successful customer service experience
  • Some automotive experience preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Ability to meet required insurance driving record parameters
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and team mentality
  • Ability to seek and accept coaching and direction
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
