About the position

The Automotive Data Product Owner at A2Z Sync is a pivotal role responsible for leading the strategy and execution of the enterprise data reporting platform. This position focuses on empowering businesses with data-driven insights, ensuring that the data needs of internal stakeholders, dealers, and external partners are met effectively. The role involves developing a comprehensive product strategy, conducting user research, and championing data visualization to drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the enterprise data reporting platform.
• Conduct extensive user research to identify data needs and pain points of internal teams, dealers, and external partners.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling narratives.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and collaborate with engineering, design, and data science teams.
• Develop and implement strategies to encourage widespread adoption of the data reporting platform.
• Continuously track key performance indicators (KPIs) and gather user feedback for product improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with or for automotive retail dealerships.
• 5+ years of experience as a product owner, focusing on data reporting and analytics.
• 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, business intelligence, and data visualization concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL is a plus.
• Proven ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable product roadmaps.
