About the position

The Parts Manager at Stanley Automotive is responsible for leading a profitable parts department, ensuring efficient staffing, inventory management, and adherence to company policies. This role involves strategic planning, customer relations, and personnel management to achieve departmental goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts, objectives, and budgets for the parts department.
• Participates in preparing and executing the annual operating budget for the service department.
• Monitors and controls department performance using reports and tracking systems.
• Develops and implements marketing plans to increase wholesale and counter business.
• Ensures proper inventory management to minimize obsolescence and theft.
• Maintains professional customer relations and encourages repeat business.
• Works closely with the Service Manager for timely parts turnaround.
• Leads recruitment, training, and performance monitoring of service department staff.
• Ensures compliance with manufacturer policies and procedures.
• Maintains reporting systems required by management and factory representatives.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Ford or dealership parts management experience preferred.
• Strong inventory management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and dealership computer systems.
• Ability to manage people and processes effectively.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record check.
