About the position
The Automotive Dealership Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and support at the dealership. This position involves managing the reception area, answering phone calls, and assisting customers while they await service. The receptionist is expected to communicate professionally and efficiently with guests and internal teams, contributing to a positive customer experience and supporting the dealership's operations.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Answer phones in a timely manner.
- Maintain the reception area.
- Assist clients while awaiting assistance from Sales.
- Direct customers to the correct department and notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting.
- Introduce the customer to the salesperson.
- Work cooperatively with the sales and other internal teams.
- Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Assist in scheduling and confirming sales appointments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Outgoing and positive personality.
- Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment.
- Professional appearance and eagerness to improve on all aspects.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
