About the position
Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Automotive Detailer. This position is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the automotive rental industry, as you will be at the forefront of our Complete Clean Pledge. Your role will involve washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing vehicles of various sizes, including trucks, vans, and cars, ensuring that all vehicles rented by our customers are safe and clean. You will be responsible for adhering to rigorous cleaning protocols to protect the health and safety of all customers and staff. As an Automotive Detailer, you will work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail is paramount. You will be expected to clean and sanitize vehicle interiors, vacuum and prepare the interiors according to our standards, and wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior. Additionally, you will check fuel levels, inspect for damage, and ensure that all vehicles are ready for customer use. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining a clean and orderly work area, wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and assisting customers as needed. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17 and includes various benefits such as paid time off, employee discounts, and a retirement savings plan with 401k matching. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards
- Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards
- Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
- Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
- Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
- Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
- Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
- Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
- Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- Fuel and stage vehicle
- Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
- Wear proper personal protection equipment (PPE) and ensure cleaning supplies are available
- Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches
- Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from our company for an employment-based work permit or other work authorization document now or in the future
