About the position
Enterprise Mobility is seeking responsible, dedicated individuals to join our team as Part Time Automotive Detailers. This position is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the automotive rental industry, as you will be at the forefront of our Complete Clean Pledge. Your role will involve washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing vehicles of all sizes, including trucks, vans, and cars, ensuring that all vehicles rented by our customers are safe and clean. The position pays $15 per hour and is located at 56450 Frank J Pichon Rd, Slidell, LA 70458. As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall cleanliness and safety of our vehicles. This includes cleaning and sanitizing vehicle interiors, vacuuming, washing and drying the vehicle's exterior, and performing thorough inspections of each vehicle. You will check fuel levels, inspect for any damage, and ensure that all necessary vehicle settings are restored to clear prior customer data. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area, wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensuring that cleaning supplies are available. The available schedule for this part-time position includes shifts on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with Wednesdays off. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards
- Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards
- Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
- Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
- Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
- Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
- Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
- Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
- Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- Fuel and stage vehicle
- Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
- Wear proper personal protection equipment (PPE) and ensure cleaning supplies are available
- Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches
- Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 1 moving violation and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
