About the position

The Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking an experienced In-Market Field Technician Trainer to provide hands-on training and support for mobile services, including ADAS calibrations and diagnostics. This role is crucial for ensuring that technicians are well-equipped to meet production goals and deliver exceptional customer service. The position involves extensive travel and requires a strong background in automotive systems and training experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on training for ATE Mobile Services including ADAS calibrations, diagnostics, and programming.
• Provide ADAS tool training and maintenance guidance.
• Implement ATE customer service processes and documentation practices.
• Guide technicians in meeting and exceeding daily production sales goals.
• Support new markets with training and van setup.
• Facilitate classroom training for new hires and ongoing remote training sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of all training activities and collaborate on training projects as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of automotive background servicing and diagnosing automotive systems.
• 2+ years working as an ADAS Calibration Technician with advanced knowledge in ADAS and electrical services.
• 2+ years of training experience (preferred).
• Strong technological skills including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols related to ADAS technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt training approaches to different audiences and learning styles.
• Proven training and instructional design skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with various automotive brands and technologies such as Tesla, Ford, Honda, and BMW.
• Certification as an ASE Master Technician or similar credentials.
