About the position

Motivated Marketing is a full-service advertising agency seeking to expand its in-house production team with the addition of an Automotive Editor/Motion Designer. This mid-level position is integral to our production department, focusing on creating compelling audio and video commercials tailored to meet the marketing needs of our automotive clients. The role demands a detail-oriented motion designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Editor/Motion Designer will be responsible for animating, editing, and delivering commercials for television, web, and radio, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. Collaboration is key in this role, as the designer will work closely with various agency teams, including production, accounts, and graphic design, to bring innovative production-based solutions to client deliverables. Additionally, the position requires exporting broadcast-ready deliverables and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Animate, edit, and deliver TV/web/radio commercials.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
• Collaborate with agency teams: production, accounts, graphic design.
• Bring production-based solutions to the table for client deliverables.
• Export broadcast-ready deliverables.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in audio/video production.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe's Creative Cloud: After Effects, Premiere, Audition.
• 3 years of professional work experience in Adobe After Effects, including the ability to create fluid animations and utilize expressions and color grading.
• Basic understanding of web and broadcast delivery codecs and formats, such as Apple Pro Res and h.264 encoding.
• Broadcast audio post-production experience, including editing voice overs and creating broadcast-level mix downs using Adobe Audition.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to work and travel on a flexible schedule when requested.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
