About the position

Mobility Innovations is seeking a skilled Automotive Electrical Engineering Technician to contribute to the development of electronic hand controls and vehicle control interfaces. This role involves designing, developing, and testing automotive electrical systems and components, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test automotive electrical systems and components for various projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
• Create and review automotive electrical schematics and drawings
• Provide technical support to product installers
• Troubleshoot automotive electrical systems and components
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in automotive electrical systems

Requirements

• Associates degree or Certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field
• 1 year of experience reading automotive wiring diagrams
• 1 year of customer support experience (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
• Experience with creating and reviewing electrical schematics and drawings
• Experience soldering and desoldering circuit components
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices
• Basic mechanical knowledge to collaborate effectively with mechanical engineers
