About the position

The Automotive Finance (F&I) Consultant at KPA plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with automotive dealership clients. This position focuses on ensuring compliance with industry regulations through onsite audits, training, and documentation, ultimately aiming to minimize risk and enhance profitability for clients. The role requires frequent travel to client locations, primarily in the Escondido, Carlsbad, and Encinitas areas, and involves a combination of remote work and field visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with automotive dealership clients.
• Conduct onsite field audits and deal jacket reviews to ensure compliance.
• Provide employee training on finance and insurance regulations.
• Assist in preparing compliance documentation as needed.
• Organize client visit schedules for efficient travel.
• Document all activities in the CRM platform (Salesforce).
• Promote productive relationships with dealer group management and State Dealer Association Management.
• Communicate and implement sales and finance management compliance systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Finance & Insurance regulations at an automotive dealership.
• Deep knowledge of Finance and Sales regulations and compliance.
• Strong communication skills, both in-person and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and manage accounts efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn and navigate new platforms and technology quickly.
