About the position

The Automotive Finance Manager plays a crucial role in the F&I Department of a dealership, responsible for securing financing for customers, generating profit for the dealership, and ensuring all paperwork related to vehicle sales is completed accurately. This position requires a strong understanding of dealership operations, customer relations, and the ability to train and motivate the sales team. The ideal candidate will possess professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused approach to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Secure financing for customers through dealership lending sources.
  • Generate profit for the dealership by managing vehicle purchase balances.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork involved in vehicle sales, including customer signatures and insurance information.
  • Train and motivate the sales department on F&I processes and products.
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity in all dealings with customers, lenders, and vendors.

Requirements

  • 1 year of automotive F&I producer experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer software.
  • Experience in negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
