About the position
The Automotive F&I Manager is responsible for overseeing the finance and insurance department within an automotive dealership. This role involves working closely with customers to provide financing options, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maximizing profitability through effective management of F&I products and services.
Responsibilities
- Manage the finance and insurance department operations.
- Develop and implement F&I processes and procedures.
- Work with customers to provide financing options and explain terms.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding finance and insurance.
- Maximize profitability through the sale of F&I products and services.
- Train and mentor sales staff on F&I processes and products.
- Analyze and report on F&I performance metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an F&I Manager or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of finance and insurance products.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with dealership management systems and software.
Nice-to-haves
