About the position

The Automotive Finance Manager (F&I Manager) plays a crucial role in assisting both new and used car buyers with their financing and product needs. This position involves working closely with financial lenders to secure approvals and funding for clients, while also ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The F&I Manager is responsible for maintaining the profitability of the finance department, training the sales team, and providing customers with comprehensive information about financing options and aftermarket products.

Responsibilities

• Assist new and used car buyers with their financing and product needs.
• Work with financial lenders to acquire approvals and funding for clients.
• Offer vehicle financing to customers and explain aftermarket products and extended service agreements.
• Prepare and process financing and leasing deals accurately.
• Secure approval through financial sources while complying with federal and state regulations.
• Train and provide the sales team with information on finance and lease programs and dealership benefits.
• Stay up-to-date with the department's contracts in transit to ensure timely cash flow.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Ability to maintain the profitability of the department while controlling expenses.
• Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations affecting operations.
• Consent to and pass a drug/background screen.
