About the position

Ray Auto Group, a prominent automotive dealership in Northern Illinois, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our team in Fox Lake, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive finance, demonstrating a proven track record of success in managing finance operations within a dealership environment. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, with the potential to earn over $300,000 annually based on performance and sales achievements. As the F&I Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all finance and insurance activities within the dealership. This includes working closely with customers to provide financing options, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and maximizing profitability through effective management of finance products. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining relationships with lenders, negotiating terms, and ensuring that all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately. In addition to your finance responsibilities, you will play a key role in training and mentoring sales staff on finance products and processes, helping to enhance their understanding and effectiveness in closing deals. Your ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members will be crucial in fostering a positive and productive work environment. The F&I Manager will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure the dealership remains compliant and competitive in the market.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ability to train and mentor staff to enhance their finance knowledge and sales effectiveness.
