About the position

The Automotive Finance and Insurance Manager at DARCARS Automotive Group is responsible for managing the financial transactions involved in the vehicle buying experience for customers. This role includes working with lenders to secure financing, producing necessary financial paperwork, and consulting with staff on DMV laws. The position requires strong customer relationship management and adherence to local and national regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the sales team and customers to assist in the financial buying process of the car buying experience.
  • Consult and sell finance & insurance warranties to customers.
  • Produce and submit accurate paperwork for title work and to secure funding from finance sources in a timely manner.
  • Achieve monthly objectives and meet deadlines for turning in customer paperwork to lenders and accounting.
  • Secure and handle customer money during vehicle transactions and turn money into accounting.
  • Adhere to all local and national regulations and advise the sales team on new and recently changed state laws associated with purchasing a vehicle.
  • Create and maintain customer relationships and maintain an impeccable reputation with lenders and vendors.
  • Give proper finance and insurance menu presentations explaining warranty packages.
  • Assist sales professionals with customers when needed to explain lending options and warranties.
  • Build relationships with local and national bank and manufacturer representatives and meet with them monthly.
  • Track record of excellent CSI scores.

Requirements

  • Prior finance manager experience of 2-3 years with a per copy of $1,800 or higher.
  • Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays.
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and dealership management systems.
  • Detail-oriented and can stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and a team player.
  • Ability to understand tag and title laws; DMV.

Nice-to-haves
