About the position

The Automotive Finance and Insurance Manager (F&I Manager) is responsible for managing finance and insurance operations within the automotive dealership. This role focuses on compliance, product knowledge, and delivering exceptional customer service while training new talent in the finance department.

Responsibilities

• Contract new business and sell F&I products
• Generate finance income on all sold customers
• Check and verify paperwork involved with cash, finance, or loan transactions
• Contract or collect all money at closing
• Seek bank approval on financed and leased deals
• Maintain a working knowledge of leases
• Assist in acquiring approval from lenders
• Understand all programs and rate options offered by lenders
• Solicit extended warranty sales
• Handle all cancellations for extended service contracts and GAP policies

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-year F&I experience is required
