About the position

The Automotive Fleet Deletions Coordinator is responsible for managing the entry and exit of vehicles in the rental fleet at Avis Budget Group. This role involves conducting inspections, handling registration paperwork, and preparing vehicles for customer rentals or transitions to retail lots. The position requires working outdoors in a dynamic environment, ensuring efficient vehicle organization and movement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entry and exit of vehicles in the rental fleet.
  • Conduct pre-delivery and post-use inspections of vehicles.
  • Handle license plate installation and removal.
  • Coordinate registration papers, stickers, and car keys.
  • Prepare vehicles for customer rentals or transitions to retail used car lots, auctions, or other buyers.
  • Ensure efficient movement and organization of vehicles in the car lot.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
  • Ability to work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
