About the position

The Automotive Installer Electrical position at Horton Emergency Vehicles involves assembling and troubleshooting electrical components for ambulances. Responsibilities

• Assemble harnesses, cables, switch panels, circuit boards, and various electrical components.
• Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
• Repair defects in electrical systems.
• Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.
• Perform final assembly of parts and hardware.
• Test products to ensure performance to specifications.
• Report repetitive quality issues.

Requirements

• Preferred 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to understand both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
• Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills and screw guns.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance.
• Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Successful completion of the drug and background screening.
