The Inventory Manager will purchase products for resale from automotive auctions. Will also perform trade evaluations on customer vehicles and oversee the inventory for their specific location in accordance with Company policies and standards. Oversees and maintains inventory for their assigned location. Develops and maintains relationships with wholesalers and suppliers. Attend auto auctions online or in person as assigned with the purpose of purchasing vehicles for their assigned location. Assesses financial risks of purchases. Attends trade shows, product exhibitions, and conferences to maintain understanding of new products and trends. Perform trade evaluations on customer vehicles and act as the subject matter expert on all questions regarding vehicle trades. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Five years of automotive buying experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.
  • Driving record that aligns with the Company Driving Policy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
