About the position

The Automotive Lube Technician at Town & Country Ford is responsible for performing lubrication services on vehicles efficiently and thoroughly. This role involves coordinating with the Production Foreman to ensure all services are completed to high standards while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all lubrication services on vehicles.
  • Conduct thorough checks of customer's cars, including battery, lights, and tires, and refer necessary repairs to the Service Advisor.
  • Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment effectively.
  • Receive repair orders and proceed to service lift for vehicle servicing.
  • Lubricate the entire car while identifying other potential repair needs.
  • Ensure the customer's car is kept clean during service.
  • Maintain all equipment in proper working order, especially the lifts.
  • Use materials and supplies adequately without excess.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, reporting any accidents immediately.

Requirements

  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Two years of experience as a technician's helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership.
  • Manual dexterity and good judgment.
  • Authorization to work in the USA.
  • Ability to perform duties safely and pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and credit report.
