About the position
The Maintenance Technician position at Bridgestone Retail Operations is an entry-level role focused on servicing vehicles as part of a dedicated team. This position offers an opportunity to learn and grow within the automotive service industry, providing essential maintenance and repair services to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Responsibilities
- Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive issues including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical systems.
- Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
- Install and perform tire maintenance.
- Install batteries and shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
- Road test vehicles.
Requirements
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Experience in the automotive service industry preferred.
- Reading, writing, and math skills.
