As an Outside Sales Representative at Hatch Stamping Company, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth within the automotive sector. This position focuses on building and maintaining relationships with key industry contacts, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored metal forming solutions to meet customer needs. Your expertise in the automotive industry and metal forming processes will be essential in promoting our high-quality solutions and contributing to the overall growth strategy of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers in the automotive sector, leveraging existing industry contacts.
  • Promote metal forming solutions to automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and other relevant businesses.
  • Conduct client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with current customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met, from project initiation through to delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to position solutions effectively.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, specifically within the metal forming industry.
  • Established network of contacts within the automotive sector is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of metal forming processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in business development (1 year preferred).
  • Willingness to travel (25% preferred).
