Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and make necessary adjustments on automobiles.
• Perform preventive maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports.
• Work on-call hours as needed.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with the public.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes.
• Confer with customers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and discuss work to be performed.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.
• Repair and service air conditioning, heating, engine-cooling, and electrical systems.
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors.
• Tear down, repair, and rebuild faulty assemblies such as power systems, steering systems, and linkages.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience required.
• Ability to diagnose and repair automotive issues.
• Experience in performing preventive maintenance on vehicles.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
