As an A/R - A/P specialist, you will manage all facets of accounts receivables relationships with long-term and new customers. You will be responsible for the timely and profitable collection of accounts receivables while maintaining constant open lines of communication between customers, parts, and sales. The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to communicate positively with vendors. Responsibilities

  • Manage all facets of accounts receivables relationships with long-term and new customers.
  • Ensure timely and profitable collection of accounts receivables.
  • Maintain constant open lines of communication between customers, parts, and sales.
  • Reconcile A/P statements and service/parts invoice payments for multiple rooftops.
  • Resolve customer claims and disputed items while providing feedback to prevent similar errors in the future.
  • Support department productivity goals managing incoming phone calls, chat, and email correspondence.
  • Provide guidance to functional counterparts in operating units and management on matters involving exposure and risk associated with accounts receivable relationships.
  • Follow company policies and procedures and perform any other accounting duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Automotive A/P and A/R experience/accounting experience required.
  • Proficient in CDK Software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-growing environment.
  • Strong ability to reconcile journal schedules.

  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Ability to work with customers in sometimes difficult and confrontational situations.
