The Automotive Office Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing accurate financial information. Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee all financial activities of the company.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Provide accurate financial information.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable.
• Handle payroll and human resources functions.
• Perform bank and schedule reconciliations.
• Understand and analyze financial statements.
• Conduct sales and expense analyses with knowledge of the General Ledger.
• Close books at month-end.

Requirements

• Practical experience in accounts receivable and payable.
• Experience in payroll and human resources.
• Ability to perform bank and schedule reconciliations.
• Understanding of financial statements.
• Knowledge of sales and expense analyses with General Ledger experience.
• Experience with month-end closing of books.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of titling and registration of vehicles and TXDMV compliance.
• Familiarity with deal tear down and funding requirements.
• Experience in preparing and submitting necessary state sales tax, battery tax, and VIT reports.
