About the position
Pik Rite, Inc. is seeking experienced painters to join our team at our production facility located in Lewisburg, PA. The position is Full Time, 5 days a week. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for details, a passion for painting, a good attitude, be motivated, productive, and reliable! Candidates must be willing to work various positions, hours, and shifts and change as situations deem necessary. As an Automotive Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting equipment and parts to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for painting by sanding, masking, and priming
- Mix paint to match the desired color
- Apply paint to equipment and parts using a spray gun
- Ensure a high-quality finish by inspecting painted equipment and parts for flaws and correcting as necessary
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Automotive Painter or collision repair specialist
- Ability to mix and match paint to achieve desired color
- Experience using a spray gun
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
