About the position

The Automotive Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the ordering, tracking, distribution, and storage of automotive parts at Joe Hudson's Collision Center. This role ensures that parts are received in a timely manner, inspected for quality, and returned if necessary. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Order parts from preferred vendors and confirm orders.
• Monitor delivery times and track incomplete orders.
• Check in parts, label, and distribute immediately or store them until needed.
• Inspect all parts for damage, quality, and accuracy.
• Return and reorder any damaged or incorrect parts.
• Maintain pending credits at zero.
• Pickup parts at vendors as requested.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Comply with all safety rules and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong computer skills and aptitude to learn new programs.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to read and understand repair instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Personable and friendly demeanor with a solid customer service approach.
• Willingness to travel to JHCC locations as required.
