About the position
The Automotive Parts Counter Person at Holmgren Subaru is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to internal, retail, wholesale, and phone customers regarding automotive parts and accessories. This role involves utilizing an electronic parts catalog system to ensure accurate part selection, managing orders and invoices, and assisting with deliveries as needed. The position requires strong multitasking abilities and excellent computer skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist internal, retail, wholesale, and phone customers regarding replacement parts and accessory requirements.
- Utilize an electronic parts catalog (EPC) system to ensure the correct part is selected.
- Assign parts to repair orders and invoices, and create special orders and purchase orders.
- Receipt orders and vendor deliveries, ensuring parts are properly tagged and assigned.
- Notify the Service Department and customers when parts are received.
- Invoice and collect payment from customers.
- Assist with deliveries when necessary.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of automotive parts counter experience is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills are required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous Subaru parts experience is a plus.
