About the position
Otis Ford is looking for a dedicated Parts Counterperson to assist customers and technicians in locating and purchasing parts for Ford vehicles. This role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient operations within the parts department.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and locating the correct parts.
- Provide accurate information regarding parts availability, pricing, and delivery times.
- Process parts orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked parts inventory.
- Handle returns and warranty claims efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an automotive parts department is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems, particularly Ford vehicles.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with parts catalog and inventory management software is a plus.
