About the position
The Automotive Parts Counterperson at Classic Chevy GMC in Madison, Ohio, is a full-time role focused on assisting customers with their automotive parts needs. This position requires a minimum of two years of recent experience in an automotive parts department, preferably with GM vehicles. The Counterperson will engage with customers both in-person and over the phone, providing information, price quotes, and ensuring they are aware of the full product line available. Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting required parts and suggest companion requirements.
- Provide information on specials and ensure customers are aware of the full product line.
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Sell parts to customers over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.
Requirements
- Two years of recent experience in an automotive parts department.
- Experience with GM vehicles is preferred, either from a dealership or parts store.
