About the position
The Automotive Parts Counterperson at Pallotta Ford Lincoln is responsible for overseeing the parts sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely service. This role requires experience in automotive parts, particularly with Ford, and involves collaboration with the parts manager and service department to fulfill customer requests and maintain inventory.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
- Work with the parts manager to locate any parts not in stock.
- Complete special order part requests for customers and service personnel.
- Communicate with customers on parts status.
- Work with the service department to obtain needed parts and update on status.
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the industry.
Requirements
- ASE Certification
- Automotive parts experience
- Automotive dealership experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented
- Strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license
