About the position
The Automotive Parts Counterperson at Hyundai is responsible for providing customers with the necessary parts and accessories in a timely manner. This role involves not only identifying the correct items for customers but also promoting additional sales. The Parts Counterperson will manage inventory processes, maintain cleanliness in the parts area, and ensure efficient operation of the parts counter.
Responsibilities
- Provide requested parts and accessories to customers in a timely manner.
- Identify and specify the correctly needed items for customers.
- Solicit additional sales from customers.
- Charge out merchandise using the Dealer Management System.
- Follow up on special orders for parts.
- Tag, store, and process warranty parts.
- Assist in conducting inventory cycle counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the inventory area, parts counter, and retail displays.
Requirements
- Experience in automotive parts sales or a related field.
- Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
