About The Position

The Automotive Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering automotive parts from the parts depot to customers in Northern Michigan. This role starts from the driver's home and involves daily distribution of parts, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining the professional appearance of the parts department and the delivery vehicle.

Requirements

• Current, valid driver's license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• One year in a vehicle parts department preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts and equipment to customers from the employee's home.
• Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors, coordinating with the Parts Manager and other staff.
• Complete a log at the time of delivery and request the recipient's signature.
• Unload the delivery vehicle each night and turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
• Maintain the parts delivery vehicle, ensuring it is clean and operates properly.
