About the position

The Automotive Parts Counter Salesperson at Woodhouse Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Ram is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in the sales of automotive parts. This full-time position involves assisting customers with their automotive needs, processing orders, and maintaining product knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction. The role is crucial in helping customers select the right parts and ensuring efficient order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers (retail, wholesale, and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly and professional manner.
• Inform customers of companion part requirements and ensure exposure to the full product line.
• Answer phone calls promptly, providing price quotes and information.
• Review body shop estimates to ensure parts ordered are accurate and pricing aligns with estimates.
• Provide high-level service to internal and external customers.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or materials needing immediate attention.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders if necessary.
• Notify the body shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Three (3) + years in auto parts sales preferred
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug Test
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
