The Automotive Parts Specialist at Schaefer Autobody Centers is responsible for coordinating the receipt and ordering of automotive parts for vehicle repair. This role ensures timely distribution of parts to technicians, verifies pricing, and provides customer service support. Responsibilities
- Coordinate the receipt and ordering of automotive parts for vehicle repair.
- Ensure timely distribution of parts to technicians.
- Post and verify pricing for automotive parts.
- Provide customer service support as needed.
- Organize the parts area for efficiency.
- Process returns and credits for parts.
- Reorder damaged, incorrect, or missing parts.
- Verify parts receipt for vehicles to be delivered.
- Post parts invoices in the management system.
- Schedule customer repairs and create accurate written repair appraisals for fleet and dealership vehicles.
Requirements
- ASE Certification
- Automotive repair experience
- ASE Parts Specialist Certification
- Sales experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience in automotive service
- Cash handling skills
- Negotiation skills
