About the position

The Automotive Product Marketing Sr. Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of MediaTek's automotive business. This position is focused on identifying and cultivating new partnerships within the automotive sector, particularly targeting software providers and Tier-1 automotive manufacturers in both Europe and North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and executing a comprehensive technical enablement plan that emphasizes the development of solutions, demonstrations, and proof of concepts (POCs) tailored for automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). In this role, the manager will leverage MediaTek's software stack and partner platforms to create impactful solutions that meet the needs of automotive OEMs. Collaboration is key, as the manager will work closely with MediaTek's software and automotive platform marketing teams to support go-to-market strategies for the automotive business. Additionally, the manager will be tasked with developing new business engagement models and clearly articulating the rules of engagement between MediaTek and its multinational partners. The position also involves influencing the definition and development of MediaTek's software platform, as well as tools and development kits aimed at developers. The manager will be expected to deliver executive report-outs that encompass strategic insights, business updates, and technical topics, ensuring that stakeholders are well-informed and aligned with the company's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new auto partner relationships with a focus on software providers and Auto Tier-1s in Europe and North America.
  • Deliver and execute a technical enablement plan focused on building solutions, demos, and POCs for automotive OEMs.
  • Leverage MediaTek and partner Auto Software stack and platforms to build solutions, demos, and POCs for automotive OEMs.
  • Collaborate closely with MediaTek SW and Auto platform marketing to support go-to-market strategies for the automotive business.
  • Develop new business engagement models and articulate rules of engagement between MediaTek and its large multinational partners.
  • Influence the definition and development of MediaTek's software platform and developer-focused tools and development kits.
  • Deliver executive report-outs spanning strategy, business updates, and technical topics.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with 5+ years in strategic planning, business development, or ecosystem engagement.
  • Experience focused on automotive industry products and/or ecosystem is preferred.
  • Comfortable with silicon and software-related topics and ability to navigate deeply technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with software trends, frameworks, and APIs (e.g., 3D Graphics APIs, AI Frameworks, domain-specific compilers and tools such as CUDA/TensorRT).
  • Experience with ecosystem marketing and engaging partners on reference platforms.
  • Strong communication skills (written/verbal) and executive presence.
  • Expert in delivering executive presentations spanning technical, business, and strategic topics.
  • Open to at least 30% international travel.
