About the position

The Automotive Program Manager at Stanadyne LLC is responsible for overseeing the launch and execution of automotive programs, ensuring they meet customer expectations and business objectives. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and maintaining compliance with company procedures. The Program Manager will act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Organize and lead Program Launch Team (PLT) and Program review/GATE review.
  • Ensure that assigned programs are launched On-Time, On-Budget, and at or Better than original business case objectives.
  • Ensure that all program production launches meet/exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain a common voice throughout the life of the program with interaction among customers, suppliers, and internal functions.
  • Manage all aspects of the assigned program using Master Timing Schedules (MTS) and other management tools.
  • Utilize Cost Request Process to manage change control and program integrity.
  • Track all spending against approved appropriations and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Maintain launch team compliance to Stanadyne procedures.
  • Minimize exposure risk and proactively communicate issues to drive optimal decisions.

Requirements

  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of Program Launch experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good communication (both written and oral).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Business Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
  • Basic understanding of Financial Management models and documents.
  • Ability to utilize team concepts, along with solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience ideal.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
