About the position

The Automotive Receptionist at Sheehy Auto Stores plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience at the body shop. This full-time position serves as the first point of contact for customers, requiring a professional demeanor and a commitment to providing excellent service. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, and goal-oriented, contributing positively to the dealership's reputation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet and receive prospects and customers
• Maintain a friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient interaction with all customers and employees
• Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system
• Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Record totals of repair orders and verify against all cash, checks, and credit card payments on hand at the end of the shift
• Refer customers who have additional questions to the service advisor or other appropriate staff member
• Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise, referring the customer to the appropriate individual for further assistance
• Assist with various clerical duties as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or higher
• A professional appearance
• A clean driving record & valid driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks (MVR, drug test)
