About the position
AAA Tire & Auto Service Center is seeking hardworking and motivated individuals with all levels of automotive experience to join our dynamic Car Care Repair Teams around the Oklahoma City area. We have multiple locations available, including NW OKC, Quail Springs, Edmond, and Norman. As an Automotive Repair Technician, you will be responsible for accurately performing maintenance and advanced automotive repairs, including mechanical diagnostics for engine repair, automatic/manual transmissions, suspension/steering, brakes, ABS/traction control, electrical systems, and heating/AC. You will also maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills and continue to develop additional technical skills to enable flexibility in work assignments. Proper maintenance of tools and equipment while following safety procedures is essential.
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform maintenance and advanced automotive repairs/mechanical diagnostics for engine repair, automatic/manual transmissions, suspension/steering, brakes, ABS/traction control, electrical, and heating/AC.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills and continue to develop additional technical skills.
- Properly maintain tools and equipment and follow safety procedures.
Requirements
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications (or ability to obtain in 12 months - paid for by AAA) or car dealer certifications.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 75 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Satisfactory employment screening results including background check, drug screening, and fitness for duty assessment.
- Authorized to work in the USA.
Nice-to-haves
- State Safety and Emissions license preferred, not required.
