About the position

The Automotive Sales Associate at Hodges Mazda is responsible for enhancing the customer buying experience through professional vehicle presentations and demonstrations. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, managing leads, and providing exceptional service to drive sales in a growing automotive sales department.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the customer buying process by performing high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of vehicles.
• Prepare and present demo vehicles ensuring the latest technology is enabled and ready for display.
• Supply customers with product performance and benefits information.
• Build strong rapport with customers to foster trust and loyalty.
• Assist with lead generation by managing incoming email leads and setting appointments for vehicle demonstrations via email and text communication.
• Prepare email collateral for clients in anticipation of scheduled appointments, ensuring clients are informed before they arrive at the dealership.

Requirements

• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday.
• Outgoing and friendly, especially while handling objections.
• Tech savvy with a strong understanding of automotive technology.
• Quality customer service skills and a proven sales track record.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
• Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process.
• Focuses on the customer's needs to enhance dealership and personal sales.
• Eager to learn dealership best practices and advance customer service skills.
