About the position

The Automotive Sales Delivery Assistant at Van Bortel Subaru of Rochester is responsible for providing exceptional customer service during the vehicle delivery process. This role involves demonstrating vehicle features, ensuring vehicles are ready for delivery, and supporting the sales team to enhance the overall customer experience. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate vehicle features and technology to customers.
• Inspect and correct any problems with vehicles prior to delivery.
• Maintain up to date product knowledge on vehicles and their features.
• Complete Salesperson training.
• Ensure the Van Bortel truly exceptional customer experience.
• Complete the Customer Relations Management training.
• Perform Greeter job duties as needed.
• Support Sales staff.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• 1 - 3 years experience working in a customer service capacity.
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage projects and details simultaneously.
• Analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
• Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
• Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
• Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner.
• Ability to develop, plan and implement short- and long-term goals.
• Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
