About the position

The Automotive Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the profitability of the sales and finance departments at a busy dealership. This role requires strong leadership skills to motivate the team, ensure customer satisfaction, and execute strategic plans to meet sales forecasts. The position also involves negotiating vehicle purchase options with customers and maintaining a professional presence in the dealership.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for the profitability of the sales and finance departments.
  • Assist in developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve monthly and annual forecasts.
  • Lead the negotiation process ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
  • Maintain a strong focus on the satisfaction of all customers.
  • Engage and motivate the team to achieve goals and performance expectations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of automotive management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
