The Automotive Service Advisor/Manager at Clutch Automotive is a pivotal role responsible for managing the workflow of the shop while ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales. This position requires a self-motivated and disciplined individual who can lead a team, maintain high standards of service, and foster a positive work environment. The advisor/manager will oversee quality automotive repairs, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to the profitability of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the shop's workflow effectively by monitoring job board, appointments, and technician capacity.
  • Provide 5-star customer service with a positive attitude and empathetic demeanor.
  • Utilize disciplined processes and technology to maintain high-level communication with customers.
  • Deliver an excellent sales approach that educates customers on their repairs and empowers them to make informed decisions.
  • Increase sales and profitability year over year while maintaining high gross metrics among all sales staff.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years of experience in an auto repair facility in the service department.
  • Two plus years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of automotive repairs and parts.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrated leadership and customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using Tekmetric.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
