About the position
The Automotive Service Advisor at New Holland Auto Group is responsible for managing a team of technicians and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role involves scheduling and assigning work, communicating with customers about service status, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of technicians through scheduling and assigning work.
- Provide quality, friendly, professional customer service.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
- Communicate directly with technicians regarding the status of the service work and estimated time for completion.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Efficiently and accurately ensure quality repair work in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a Service Advisor preferred.
- Automotive Technical/Trade school degree.
- Strong listening skills.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Math, Reading, and Basic Computer skills.
- Must have a valid PA driver's license with a good driving record.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Ford, Toyota, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram preferred.
